Officers from the Ossining Police Department arrested local resident Andrew Knight on Feb. 7 in the Bronx in connection to the stabbing of Jackson, who was found with the fatal wound on James Street on Jan. 28.
According to the indictment, the dispute between the two was over an article of clothing led to the fatal incident. Following the dispute, Knight allegedly stabbed Jackson, who was taken to the Westchester Medical Center, where he died on Friday, Feb. 1.
The fatal incident led to an extensive police investigation, which led investigators to Knight, who was found in the Bronx and returned to Ossining for processing.
On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced that Knight, 18, has been indicted on charges that include second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
